Veggie Burger, Mashed Potatoes
With Vegetarian Brown Gravy, Broccoli & Carrots


Entree Ingredients (Two Servings)

     ¾ cup of Barbara’s Instant Mashed Potatoes
     ¾ cup water
     1/8 cup milk
     1 TB Earth Balance
     Salt to taste
     Steamed carrots and Broccoli
     Packet of Hains Brown Gravy or Turkey Gravy (Vegetarian)
     ¾ cup water
     1 TB Earth Balance
     2 Dr. Praeger Burgers
     Strips of mild cheese (optional)

Preparation

Mashed Potatoes

Follow directions on back of Barbara’s Instant Mashed Potato box for 2 servings. Brown Gravy

Mix one package of Hains Vegetarian Brown Gravy or Turkey Gravy
with ¾ cup cold water and 1 TB Earth Balance.
Heat in a small saucepan, stirring frequently under it thickens.
Store in a small glass container convenient for micro waving.

Burger & Carrots and Broccoli

Put Burger serving plate and place strips of cheese across top.
Lightly steam carrots and broccoli and place on serving plate.

Serve

Add mashed potatoes next to burger and arrange carrots and broccoli on the plate.
Make an indent in the mashed potatoes and add a little gravy.
Garnish with parsley and serve with extra gravy.
